We are ded­ic­ated to research­ing, pre­serving and pro­mot­ing the rich and diverse tea cul­ture in Europe. Our mis­sion is to ana­lyse and hon­our the mul­ti­fa­ceted world of European tea traditions.

This ranges from the his­tor­ic­al tea cul­tures in Great Bri­tain, East Frisia, Türki­ye and Geor­gia, to research­ing the activ­it­ies of great European tea entre­pren­eurs (e.g. Lipt­on, Ron­nefeldt, Mess­mer) as well as the role of teaware, to the up-and-com­ing tea plant­a­tions in Scot­land, Sweden, Italy, the Neth­er­lands and oth­er European countries.
